I just received and assembled this so I can't comment on how durable and easy to clean it is. Has a nice smooth glide. The lids are not made of metal, but of painted plastic. The spices I received do not match what is listed in the Questions and Answers section. My Seasonings: Garlic Salt, Oregano, Basil, Yellow Mustard, Onion Salt, Italian Seasoning, Bay Leaf, Cilantro, Rosemary, Parsley, Ground Ginger, Cayenne Pepper. Pepper, coriander powder, savory, sea salt, onion slices (who uses them in a spice rack?), red pepper flakes, marjoram, sage, and scallions.
