Worked great! Like a trigger for my backlight!
I tested my backlight with this device to rule out a power source or backlight. The device automatically adjusts to the correct voltage and the LCDs light up immediately. It must have temporarily set some resistance because when I reconnected the lamps to the power board the LCDs lit up like nothing happened! I will keep rolling this Sony 4K 70" (KD-70690e) until the backlight stops working.
