Rinse well with hot water, allow to cool and then use for the aquarium.

I washed the stones with very hot water so that no residue was left and after they were completely dry I transferred them to the aquarium. It works well and loves the fact that there are no small rocks or small pebbles. I only found one pair with a jagged edge so I just put them on top of a succulent (which looks amazing too). When tending an aquarium I find it easier to vacuum and the dirt and debris underneath the rocks is vacuumed up very easily.
