So the case is not "square". One side of the acrylic is longer than the other, making it a sort of polygon rather than a rectangle. It works out? It comes with spacers, making the whole block a bit thicker than it should be. The power cord does not pass data, so it is for power only and does not allow use with a laptop connection. To be honest, I haven't tried other cables as I'm very disappointed that the device isn't square. When making a piece of acrylic, the easiest way is to measure it and make sure it's the shape you want. I would avoid it and take something better.
