Review on Safari Ltd Dragon Figurine 801229 by Randy Holt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for D&D and desktops

Purchased for use with D&D. The size is pretty much perfect, and I just don't care that it doesn't have a tabletop grid map base as I feel like the dragon is so big that we're just juggling the numbers (on the dragon's side). ). I like safari dragons because each can be multiple things like dinosaur variants (change the name and a few specs and it's a mosasaur), chinese dragon, water monster, snake, etc. I bought a broken ship with this particular item. A set found at a thrift store designed for aquariums but of the D&D Minis scale. A cave under a big lake? You don't want to go down there. Safari also has a sea dragon miniature, which I have in baby size for example, as well as water giant and jellyfish/mermaid figures. Each of them is a real sea adventure. I would also like to add that the price might seem high, but the quality of the paintwork and plastic is second to none. Even Schleich cannot keep up with some of the details of these works; I'd say the only upside for Schleich is that some of their kites have less traditional detailing and colors, which looks cool but isn't enough to justify Schleich's higher prices. The livery of the Safari is thorough and elegant, well inscribed in the wing and fin areas, which can be made of clear plastic, and each time a great sign of attention to detail was evident, namely that the eyes were not completely blocked. . With any mini or toy, everything else can be perfect, and oddly placed eyes just ruin everything. Safari doesn't do that.
