I don't like hot pressing

Yes, it's my fault I bought the wrong material. I prefer the level of control that comes with cold-pressed paper. And to be honest, my favorites to paint on are the inexpensive Strathmore 105-210-1 Watercolor Cards, Cold Print, 5" x 6.875", 50 Envelopes, Postcards and Envelopes and Strathmore 400 Series Visual Watercolor Journal, 140 lb 5.5 " x 8 in., Cold Press. , Wire bound, 22 sheets over one of the overpriced sheetfed block watercolors. I started with Arches at the very beginning and have turned to Visual Journal over the course of several years while traveling. Now that we are stationary I have again Bought colored blocks for the cold and hot pressed bows I just don't like them compared to cheap Strathmore alternatives A bit odd but here it is.
