I bought this TDS tester to test my new fridge water filter. I couldn't trust the filter indicator and was surprised after testing a newly installed refrigerator water filter with this TDS tester. As you can see the water was not suitable for daily use. I also used a TDS tester to test sinks and bottled water. This TDS tester does the job very accurately, bottled water was below 50ppm (potable) and sink water was above 400+ (not safe for daily consumption). I recommend buying a TDS tester if you want to know if your water is safe to drink.
