Very convenient to have a phone holder, the first one was too short for my big dashboard. I couldn't easily reach my phone to, for example, adjust the phone's angle or reject an incoming call. I also have a Loopy phone case which I really like. But I had to take it off every time I wanted to use the car mount for navigation. No longer! The yoke holds well, I can change the angle a bit without loosening the nut at the back. I'm curious to see how long this will last or if it will loosen up over time and eventually fail. You need to get it to grip the iPhone as deeply as possible to avoid hitting the power/volume buttons. It sticks very well to my window and the support piece helps reduce bumps in the road. If you have a phone case that isn't perfectly flat due to Loopy or PopSocket on the back, I recommend this mount. I also recommend this longer length instead of the short one if you have a large windshield or dashboard as it's nice to be able to touch/adjust the angle of the phone if needed. The clamp is strong, to put the phone in the holder you need two hands (one to press, the other to insert the phone). So it's not as easy as a magnetic mount, but I have a wireless charger at home so I can't have metal in a phone case anyway.
