I used this to do a leak on my 94 Bronco 5.8L. First, he had NO loss of compression on six of the eight cylinders. NOBODY. On my 195,000 mile engine it should have registered at least 10-15%. Only two cylinders showed a loss of 10% or more. And then when I went back and repeated the test on a warm engine, the adapter that fits into the spark plug holes came loose. Of course you can reassemble it, but now the adapter's clutch just spins round and round. As a result, you can no longer screw it fully into the spark plug hole. See drawing for custom adapter. I thought about gluing or crimping it, but I'd rather just return it and buy something more durable.
