I'm not sure I like the recharge feature but the lighter works great

In the winter we often build a fire in our wood stove, have a barbecue outside and burn leaves and shrubs when we can. It's very useful to have a good lantern that doesn't blow in the wind. HOW IT WORKS It comes in a butane free box. You must purchase this separately. FILL This fills up very easily. It has a window on the side so you can see how much butane is in the tank. I am very happy with this feature. BOTTOM ADJUSTMENT There is a screw at the bottom that you can use to adjust the flame. Mine came with almost no flame and it didn't work. As I tuned into the positive side, the flame became beautiful and strong. HOW IT WORKS When you open the lid, the butane begins to flow immediately. You must immediately press the blue button, which will ignite and then make the flame work. DO NOT LEAVE THE COVER OPEN IF IT IS NOT WORKING. CHARGING There are indicators on the front to show the charging progress while charging and while the lighter is in use, so you can make sure it's charged. It took me an hour to fully charge it, but it didn't fully discharge. The charging port is Micro USB, not CI type. I'm not sure I like the idea of charging as it seems like the flint would work just as well without needing to be charged. OFF You can either flip the lid to the off position or blow out and then lower the lid. In any case it works. FINAL LINE This lighter is great when you need a strong flame to start a fire. Works well and can be recharged. The flame is blue and there are good indicators showing the butane and charge levels to the left of the lighter. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. It works well and as they say it will. I love the lighter and use it often. I'm not sure I'm crazy about having to charge it to make it work, but I still like it.
