Although the USB wireless connection was easy to set up, I noticed some connection issues. I connected and downloaded the drivers from the T-Link website to make sure everything is fine with the latest drivers. Getting started was easy and I connected to the wireless network with no issues. The problem is that I have a mesh network, and even though I have a wireless adapter in the same room as the computer that the wireless USB is plugged into, the device still connects to the main mesh router in the room Ground floor. First, the device connects to an access point in the same room, but on 2.4GHz, even though my eero pro is on both 5GHz and 2, 4GHz works. Wireless USB adapter, finally connected to 5g but not to the adapter in the room but to the main Eero router in my downstairs office. The radio signal shows 4 instead of 5 bars due to the distance. So far I have not been able to connect the adapter to the Eero room adapter. Every other device I have that is in or connected to the room does so at 5GHz, but the T-Link does not and instead connects to the Eero on another floor. I get decent speeds with this setup, but it still connects to 2.4GHz first and then jumps to 5GHz. I'm not sure why he chose the more distant Eero adapter, but it seems better, although I doubt it is.
