This far exceeded my expectations. . .Sounds trite? I bought this for my workshop to make precise marks on the material I'm cutting. After a box of #2 pencils I'm ready to buy a few more. It always gives me a tip that isn't too sharp and brittle but perfect for a clean, precise line to follow when cutting real material. Other sharpeners I've bought, all much more expensive, literally ate pencils to get a usable point. Either the tip is too sharp and brittle, or it is not effective at removing material around the tip. Both lead to wasted time and pens. Another feature I like is the customizable power supply. So far I've only used it on batteries, but other times I've been able to use the AC function. Either way, I want to have a choice that suits my needs. This product deserves your serious consideration. It's best to buy it now. . .
