Review on 🎀 Susan Bates 5-1/2-Inch Bamboo Handle Silvalume Crochet Hook (8mm) - Silver Pink, Model 13206-L11" by Jennifer Roberts

I am wary of them. I have used and loved Susan Bates hooks my entire time crocheting and have never had a problem. However, that got me thinking. I bought 4 different sizes and they all had the same problem. The Susan Bates hooks I use do not have bamboo handles and are different from them. For example, hook heads with bamboo handles are more rounded and the shed is not as smooth, so the yarn does not slide smoothly. You can clearly see the grooves on the hooks with the bamboo handle. I love the bamboo handles, I just don't like the difference between the heads and neck when both should be fitted. I have included photos to show the difference from my original Susan Bates hooks.
