I ferment on sourdough and this jar has cracked at the bottom from the weight of the dough. My jar was about 3/4 full of batter and there was a solid crack at the bottom. She missed it 100% and is sitting in a quiet spot on the counter. There was no lid on it, I let the sourdough breathe by simply covering the top with a cloth. It's been over 30 days so can't go back but I'll call Revane to discuss the possibility of returning as the only reason I got the jars was to ferment sourdough in them. Very dangerous and very futile as I had to throw away my leaven for fear it might contain glass. It was a set of two glasses, and now I'm even afraid to use the second one.
