Review on Zalman Z3 M ATX 💻 Tower Computer: A Compact and Powerful Machine by Stanislaw Puzyna ᠌

I bought a Zalman Z3 Plus case in August of this year to replace the old one, assembled a computer, and everything seems to be fine, but I forgot to check the front panel. A month later, it means that I connected the headphones, and ran into a problem: the sound from the front panel is output with strong distortion, and in different operating systems. At first I wanted to hand over the entire case under warranty, but the check got lost somewhere, and I didn’t want to carry the computer 250 km away. Well, I dismantled the case, got to the board with the ill-fated connectors, pulled it out, and connected it to another computer - the result is the same, strong distortion. At first I thought about the flimsy, untrustworthy connectors, you never know, marriage, so it was decided to order similar ones. Fortunately, the reviews about them were excellent, supposedly everything works with a bang. What was my surprise when, after soldering the new connectors, there was no sound at all, and when the headphones are connected, the message "Connector is disconnected" appears, when they are disconnected - "Connector connected". I went to the website of the 2022 distributor "Ost-Com", wrote an email to a certain Hong Kong, the head of the Service Support Service, outlined the whole situation, and, as you can guess, did not receive a response. There was nothing to lose, and I decided to remove the obviously good connectors from the old case, but the location of the contacts there is slightly different, and the connectors themselves are larger. As a result, I had to unravel the entire board, cut off the HD AUDIO wire, and solder it directly to the connector contacts, and put the connectors on superglue, having previously enlarged the holes in the top cover with a file. It doesn't look great, of course, the warranty is lost, but everything works.
