I have used this product on an epoxy grout in a garage floor. While I didn't want non-slip flooring in the garage, I did want it on the steps leading from the garage into the house. The tub is filled with what appears to be very fine, dry sand. The way I applied was a little different from what was recommended. I simply painted the wooden steps with rustoleum epoxy and then applied them with my fingers like salt in a recipe. I would suggest following the directions if looks are important to you. I was happy with the end result. The surface is non-slip, will not snag socks or hurt barefoot, and is easy to sweep with a broom.
