Review on 🎍 Small Bamboo Salt Box with Swivel Lid - Ideal Bamboo Storage Solution by Julie Terrones

I purchased this item hoping to use it as a "Sugar Bowl" because I like the way Bamboo looks and performs. Firstly, the size listed by Revain at the time of purchasing this item was 5.2L x 3H x 3W. This is not true, the actual size is 3.13L x 2.78H x 2.5W. It would be nice for a small table for a few "pinches" of salt. It fails for my use, but that's my fault. Appearance is very good, smooth, except for a nice nick on the lid caused by Revain's 'carefree' packaging, the item was left loose and damaged by my other items, none of which 'worry' " showed. Package. For the price I paid I would never buy this again. Although beautiful to look at, I could buy 2 bamboo sugar bowls locally. The lid moves well, but only about 1/5 of it touches the base, so there's a very good clearance between the lid and the base, which I think allows a LOT of air to enter. The "pin" the cap sits on seems to be the culprit, but there's not much I can do about it, it's metal and the hole the pin went in is drilled at an angle. Maybe it's design? Although I doubt it. I'm only reviewing the product here, not Revain. I give it 2 stars, it looks like the picture but the cost of this product and the way it was made really made me lower the bill.
