I liked these lights initially but couldn't get them to work, the instructions supplied are pretty useless and it keeps blowing the trailer light fuse. my truck. I hooked them up to a homemade trailer that uses box tubing and the bolts didn't work at all. I ended up drilling holes and screwing in 10-24 screws, I didn't remove the headlights but for now I cut the wire that powers each parking light and it works fine. I think it's most likely that the ball's positive terminal is shorted to the pendant as stated by some other reviews. I also think the screws I ended up using are too big and too tight when you slide the light together that it doesn't fit properly. These lights were cheap enough and to be honest I'll just buy something else.
