They redesigned the paper output tray to prevent paper from falling on it. Floor. Fast and quiet. don't eat No wonder it has a large market share. Every doctor's office uses these fi-series scanners. Only the best accountants, who aren't cheapskates, use them like I do. We gave up the ScanSnap and went for the fi series for our desktop computers. They just work, no drama. The technical support is amazing.
