When the spare tire winch on my 2010 Silverado 1500 failed, I was looking for a replacement. Three different auto parts stores had replacement parts priced between $170 and $200, but these replacement parts were not quite the same as the OEM winch and did not have a built-in fuse like the OEM winch. I then checked the dealer parts department and the replacement cost over $300 and when I asked to check the replacement I found that the OEM replacement had done away with the security lock as well. This replacement from Revain was similar in design to the new OEM replacement winch, with minor changes, but at a much lower price. Time will tell how it holds up but so far I'm happy with this purchase.
