This is the cutest red teapot, but why is it so expensive? Red is my color so I had to have it. I will be using it in my RV to heat water for hot chocolate, soups etc. I think it's also a good idea to soak a washcloth in warm water for a soothing and refreshing facial wash. I tried it as soon as I opened the box and in fact I poured water into the kettle and messed up my stove where it was. I didn't expect it to heat up so quickly, but it does. Also, water will be spit out from above when full. I read the manual before I plugged it in and it mentioned the max and min fill lines, but didn't see them. After cleaning up the mess, I put on my glasses and took out my magnifying glass to find the max and min fill lines. I drew the lines on the teapot with black permanent marker so you can see them clearly and I will never overfill the teapot again. This cute red teapot is the perfect small size for me and I love the sturdy and practical case it comes in. It is ideal for storage and use in a small RV or at home. I definitely think it's a bit overpriced though.
