I got this set to eat healthier in my room than in my hotel. I just used it on a trip. It packs very easily, opens and assembles perfectly. The water boiled as stated. Easy to clean and no silicone taste transferred to water. Now this is a travel necessity for me. Worth the price.

Didn't realize how small it is - 550ml sounds like a lot but it's only 16oz. Still, it's perfect for one of my morning drinks, and when I travel I don't want to wait for anyone or get my coffee. This portable kettle is a great concept on paper and in the picture. HOWEVER some design changes are needed to make it reliable. First, the detachable handle is locked with a tiny latch, and if you move it slightly without holding the latch at the bottom, the whole thing gets lost and hot water can splash everywhere. Of course, if you're careful you'll never see this problem, but if you've overstuffed a little at least once and tried to stop cooking and turn it off, you'll run into this…

This is the cutest red teapot, but why is it so expensive? Red is my color so I had to have it. I will be using it in my RV to heat water for hot chocolate, soups etc. I think it's also a good idea to soak a washcloth in warm water for a soothing and refreshing facial wash. I tried it as soon as I opened the box and in fact I poured water into the kettle and messed up my stove where it was. I didn't expect it to heat up so quickly, but it does. Also, water will be spit out from above when full.

Pros: The concept design of this kettle is great. I really like how small it is when folded. The large, well-weighted base and narrow top also make it very sturdy, which is great for cooking in a crowded RV with two kids crawling all over the place.
