The product was easily connected to the vehicle's diagnostic port. The product has also successfully completed a diagnostic scan. However, the product failed to reset the oil change alert sensor, so I purchased the device. I want to change my oil and I did, but I had to tell the sensor that I don't get an oil change warning every time I turn the car on. I contacted the seller and he asked me to send him a diagnostic log, which I did. They then told me I needed a software update that would only work on a Windows computer. I have a Mac, but I visited a friend and successfully updated to a new version of the software. However, this version behaved exactly the same and even though it said the update was complete, my computer was not updated. It didn't work as advertised.
