Review on πŸ€ White Ball Bucket with Lid from Wilson Sporting Goods by Andy Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The lid is easy to use. Big enough to fit a claw hammer

I'm a roofer. I also take care of other transactions. I store my hand tools, bags, knee pads, etc. in buckets. I usually buy twist-on (gamma) caps. 5 gallon buckets will not close with a real hammer. I bought this because there are no longer commercially available larger (6 or 7 gallon) buckets. I was thrilled that I had to spend $20 for a bucket while 5 gallons cost $4 at home. But today the bucket arrived. It's more than big enough to fit my Vaughan Frame Hammer. I haven't tested it yet, so I can't comment on durability. Or longevity. But it's a bucket. Manufactured like any other bucket. I have buckets that I have been using for over ten years. Handles wear out/break off. But the buckets are pretty strong. The seat is good, I hadn't thought of that. The lid is really easy to take off and close. Assuming it doesn't get too loose over time, I'll stick with the included lid. I'll definitely be buying another one or two. One for every trade I make on the side. If the lid goes bad, Home Depot sells Twist Gamma style bucket lids for $8. I'll burn this bridge down if and when I get there. Good bucket. Bought not offended. I'll buy another one or two. Ideal for craftsmen/apprentices who are entering crews and only need to carry hand tools. highlighted. Bonus point for a break.
