Review on 🧷 KnitIQ Strong Stainless Steel T-Pins for Blocking, Knitting & Sewing - 150 Units, 1.5 Inch - Pin Needles in Hinged Reusable Tin (Classic Design) by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Needs a bit of tweaking

I have some 7s contacts instead of Ts I've seen so far. They are less strong and thin compared to the Knit Picks T-Pins that came with my blocking wires. They don't bend but I see that the price matches their quality. The tips of some pins are rough and snagging on my lace scarf project (wow!). Luckily it's 4-ply cotton so it will survive. This case came in handy for me as I didn't have anything to put 150 pins in. You can fit more into the package - I've added about 40 more pins and there's still room for growth. Not much but about 3 stars to me means it lives up to expectations. I wasn't expecting perfect pins at this price point but even at the expense of cost there is room for improvement (broken pins are the biggest bone of contention) so I can't give 4 or 5 stars. They should be smoother on the tip, have fewer defective contacts (I haven't searched the whole tin but I expect to find a few more sevens), and they could be thicker. I would pay an extra $2 to make these things come true.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
