Great monitor - my new test

I've been looking for monitors capable of color grading 4K videos for a long time at a reasonable price and finally settled on the amazing PA329C display. My system runs on three monitors and I buy a lot of monitors for post production. I've been buying Asus ProArt monitors for a while now because of their excellent color stability: I use the X-Rite i1 Pro spectrometer to calibrate all my displays every two weeks and I use a high quality Sony reference monitor to check and find that every Asus ProArt monitor rarely changes even a part. This PA329C display is no exception. Incredibly bright and razor sharp, it's perfect for watching and coloring 4K video right out of the box thanks to factory calibration that I've found to be 100% accurate and EXACTLY Sony. It's fantastically accurate in sRGB and Rec. 709 modes (the only ones I tested; I'm sure DCI-P3 too) Most colorists are tech snobs who despise any monitor under $30,000, but you have to be realistic be when you buy small post office equipment. Now that so much content is destined for the web and streaming, expensive broadcast reference monitors are becoming relatively moot unless you're finishing a studio feature film, but even then color is a matter of trust in post-production, and I have found that this display The PA329C is just perfect as a budget monitor. Reference monitor for delivering 4k web to all my clients. I use it with full confidence knowing the color will be perfect - at least until everyone sees it on their miscalibrated phones and screens.
