Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Durable and Cozy: Darn Tough Men's Hiker Merino Wool Micro Crew Socks with Cushioning by David Garnic

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too tight, short and not warm enough

Every winter my feet get very cold. I don't know if I have Raynaud or something like that. I decided to get new wool socks after trying a few different brands to see what worked for me. If you are looking for sock reviews, these are the most recommended socks. I thought they were just fine. I wear a US size 10 for men and I am a size large. They are quite tight and not as warm as I would like. And I don't have big legs, I have skin and bones there. If you look at the 3 star reviews you will see a lot of other people commenting that they are too small. On the other hand, they seem well made and at least not too bulky for my boots. I hate when I don't have enough room to move my toes. Of the socks I've tried so far, my favorite is the FoxRiver Trailhead Heavyweight Merino Wool Crew Socks Men's Warm Hiking Socks with full thermal construction. I was worried they would be bulky but they aren't and they are warmer, taller and less constricting than the Darn Tough. At first they seemed a little big but I think they shrunk a little in the wash and now they are just right.
