I have used this to remove the valve train on two engines. After removing a total of 24 valves, I found that the lower part of the yoke (the part adjacent to the valve) was sticking when trying to adjust the height. Eventually the adjuster stopped turning and as you can see from my photos it looks like part of the middle nut started stripping the threads and eventually the threads on the nuts broke which this brand new tool failed to do stopped working properly. . As soon as I screwed the controller onto the "silver" thread, the controller jammed. I've been using this tool for literally a day and now it's set me back a few weeks while waiting for a replacement. I hope that doesn't happen when I try to put a new valve train on my replacement engine.
