This works great if you have a good air compressor, a good punch gun and time. I used it to install a catalytic converter on my truck, I need to stretch both ends to a 3-1/8" ID. This requires reading the instructions and testing the adapters to see how it works. You will need to lubricate the threads of the bolt/nut assembly with anti-seize and start by installing the largest adapter that will fit in the pipe and start stretching.You will need to stretch and loosen, rotate the tensioner 45 degrees and stretch again to make the tube round again.Keep doing this and save the adapters until you get the right size!I can't tell you how long it took to do my 2 stretches but it did made the installation much cleaner/easier and allowed me to do it without the necessary adapters and extra clamps!
