This is great for safely hiding the power cord and other cables. Gives a clean, professional look. Installation is difficult only with complex walls (insulation, fire struts, pipes, etc.). The second socket is practical. Some issues we had: This thing is MASSIVE and it was hard to find a place for it without interfering with our TV's wall mount or ending up on a stud. The cable hole in the bottom wall plate is so small that our HDMI cable couldn't fit through - we had to cut another hole in the wall for the cables. The bottom wall plate extension is hard and thick - our entertainment center cannot sit flush with the wall. The price is too high in my opinion, but it's worth buying. I just bought it again for another room.
