so i bought this master switch for my 2009 dodge avenger when the driver side side window went down and then wouldn't go up (lockouts for the old power window switch and the Doors work perfectly, only the power window on the driver's side at the main switch did not work). Very easy to install and looks identical. So after installing windows it worked fine. But now the door locks only work occasionally when they feel like it, or just randomly close. For example, the other day I had to stop and pass something on to my friend. It was a nice day (the windows were down) so I left the engine running while the car was parked in the driveway. I open and close the driver's side door, went through step 3, then the doors blocked for no reason (except the handle to open the door, I didn't touch anything)! Thank goodness my windows were open! Long story short, the new master switch solved the problem I bought it for, but now the latch buttons only work intermittently.
