After about 9 years the bottom door closer on my storm door broke. The plastic on one end was damaged by the sun and came loose to the point of breaking. After checking here at Revain I found that they only sell replacement bottom closers and it looked exactly like the one that broke (my original also had the EZ Touch feature). When I got it I looked through the entire contents and decided to try clips from my old door closer on the jamb and storm door as they looked the same to me. It turned out that the end of the closer that connects to the door is slightly wider than my old closer, so I replaced that bracket. Luckily, the mounts were generally the same size, so the screw holes still lined up perfectly. I installed a new bracket and connected a closer to both ends and voila! Installation complete, everything works fine! All in all it took me about 10 minutes to install. So if you have a similar door closer that needs replacing, this is a great and easy to install option.
