I was very impressed with this monitor controller and it gave me exactly what I needed. I have a CD player with a vinyl record and a vinyl record with no volume control and this solved the problem. I needed RCA IN/OUT connectors. When connected, this had no effect on the OUTPUT volume. There was no noise, so the output is clean. I now have full control over a variety of outputs. It also has a balanced XLR input and output. So it can be used to adjust the volume of a microphone or monitor with an XLR cable. It is small and fits into the small footprint of your installation. This preamp comes with four small soft rubber feet attached with pre-applied glue. You just peel them off the paper and attach them to the bottom of the box. They keep it securely in place when you adjust the volume. I can recommend this product and buy another if needed.
