Ok, so I just have a few weeks of getting into the "hobby" of knife sharpening. I am a novice. Have tried whetstones, honing rods, diamond stones. They all work, but to a certain level. They can all bring you knife from dull to sharp.I wanted more, so I tried leather stropping ( just with a small piece of leather). OMG, just leather stropping will bring you to the next level; "Razor Sharp".So I wanted more. I tried these pastes on my leather strop. OMG, I've tried the #4000 & #50000 will bring you to a whole new level; "Scalpel Sharp".I know these diamond pastes have infinitely more applications than just knife sharpening. I can't comment on other applications, but for knife sharpening it will bring your blades to an unimaginable level of sharpness. My only advise; please be careful. Your knives will be "Extremely" sharp. You don't want to have an unpleasant accident with a knife or any other sharp tool. Enjoy!
