I bought a durable gas cap for my old truck. It had a reversible key with teeth on either side, so I could just pop it in without figuring out which way it was supposed to go. This one with prongs on one side should only go in one direction. That means when it's dark it'll be a guessing game, 50/50 I thought. The key can be removed after unlocking, I had one that I couldn't. Imagine if trying to turn the key cap by turning the cap and key ring at the same time was painful. I took a file and cut one side so it works at least in the light the first time. The part of the grip that you have to grip when screwing the cones from outside small to inside large creates the opposite effect of gripping so it actually slips out of your fingers easily and falls to the ground, then of course always ends up under my car . So I either crawl on the dirty floor of the gas station or back off so the guy behind me can run him over. How convenient. Every time I fill up I'm afraid to deal with the cap.
