Review on 🎨 Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels Set - 48 Assorted Colors by Amy Mcleod

The colors are beautiful although "purple" is what we would call "magenta". I have no experience with oil pastels, but I use professional soft pastels, am familiar with professional oil and acrylic paints and can point out a few important details. There is no doubt that these adult student pastels represent great value for money. I say "adults" because they're not labeled "non-toxic." Due to the price of the product, I seriously doubt that there is cobalt, cadmium or any other expensive pigments in the "cobalt blue" pencils and I haven't found any online references yet to the actual pigments used in these pencils. Mungyo claims they are "professional" and "fadeproof," but it's unknown if they can be considered archival. However, I think the set deserves 4 stars, not 3, because it's an inexpensive way to see if I'd be interested in using oil pastels.
