Who writes your instructions? Not polite!

Good I have a 2014 Ford F-150 XLT. The package has arrived in good condition. I opened it and was very disappointed when it came to the instructions. The instructions included black and white photos and the photos were dark so you couldn't see what they were illustrating. The letter describes the part to use next, but the parts list doesn't show any pictures of the part and since you can't see the picture too well and don't know which part you're capturing, you'll have to go to YouTube and watch 2-3 videos and then you will find out. Some of the assembly hardware and parts used are common sense, but some of the assembly requires more than what the instructions say. I installed it in just under an hour. After installation I wasn't too happy that the protective box that sits on top of the factory airbox is really loose and I'm not sure if that makes a difference to performance or airflow but I have a feeling that they should fit better. . I don't think it's loud, but it has a nice sound when you hit it! However, I bought it in the hope that it would improve my gas mileage. Before the air intake, I got 15.1 to 15.4 mpg. I have a 5.0 liter 302 V8. After installing I get from 16.7 to 16.9. However, that was because I pressed the accelerator pedal very lightly. I will give it another 30 days and update the mileage. If I can get 1 to 1.5 more miles per gallon I would be happy. This would save me about $20-$24 a month on gas based on filling up a tank three times a month at an average cost of $3 a gallon. My only advice to the manufacturer or seller is to let the manufacturer work to improve their instructions.
