So you're really only interested in two things. First is the PoE hat itself. I found it solid and reliable for a few months. That's good, but the bad thing is the fan. He is tiny and therefore also loud and whiny. I wouldn't recommend keeping it near a place where people are working or sleeping because it's terribly annoying. The other big, big problem is the /ridiculously/ crappy acrylic case. It's hard to assemble, the tiny screws are cumbersome, plus it's flimsy and it's too easy to break the tabs and once you do you'll ruin it. And gods help you if you ever want to take the Pi out of its case, once it's in, the flimsy acrylic tabs are almost guaranteed to snap. Buy a PoE hat if you have a secluded place to store your Pi, but skip the deal.
