Review on Trans Dapt 9525 Xtra Duty Motr by Ryan Schweigert

Let me say this wasn't Revain's problem at the time, it was Trans Dapt's misleading packaging. The actual parts that were in the 9525 boxes, where cheap $3.60 parts are available online, are called the DEA A2142, which I paid $30.00 for. Upon hitting the gas pedal, my big block would rip those brackets apart. Since they were in Trans-Dapt boxes, Revane certainly had no idea these parts were wrong. I ordered the exact same parts from Summit Racing as the correct mount and again got poor quality Trans Dapt parts that were actually DEA A2142 mounts (junk). Both Revain and Summit saw a flaw in the issue when looking at the mounts rather than the image in the expansion. In both cases I got my money back. I had to go to Lakewood Suspension to get the $23.95 part number 24084 which offers a metal mount so the mounts don't get lost under braking. The bottom line is, don't buy Trans Dapt bindings thinking you're getting a heavy-duty binding, the packaging even says they're "heavy duty". That's how they wrote it on the box, and I have photos to provide everything I write. However, if you notice that the image below is the correct mount, you are getting DEA A2142.
