I work on many macbooks where I work and as a standard question I provide another hub to work alongside the macbook for all my users. But since cost is a long-term concern, I had to find alternatives. Enter the iVanky hub that just made a big difference. I've tried another product from a reputable company in the same price range, but I usually have to compromise one way or another. Requires power adapter, HDMI output, USB ports for external keyboard and mouse, Ethernet and ready to use. There was another product before, I have HDMI, Ethernet and USB ports but no power supply. For the same price, I got all I needed to do with this iVanky hub. And SD and Micro SD cards are a plus too. In addition, this product is 37% cheaper than what we spent by default. Problem. This makes the HDMI output 4K at 30Hz and other resolutions at 60Hz, but I only tested 4k, 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 as these are the different monitor resolutions that my users should be using. and play with everyone. Tested on: 2017 13" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar on Mojave - instantly recognized, plug and play with external keyboard, mouse, HDMI and Ethernet seamlessly. 2018 13" Macbook Air on Mojave - instantly recognized, connected and seamlessly with external keyboard, mouse, HDMI and Ethernet. 2017 15" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar on Mojave - Instantly recognized, plug and play with external keyboard, mouse, HDMI and Ethernet hassle-free. 2020 16" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar on Catalina - - Instantly recognized, plug and play -Play with external keyboard, mouse, HDMI and Ethernet easily. Build Quality: Made from beautiful aluminum, the hub is a good weight and the build quality is solid. The iVany logo will light up immediately upon plugging in to indicate it is active i.e. H. The electronic LED is a nice subtle touch. The data transfer speed from the microSD card is also good, I don't use the fastest microSD cards, but that's not a very important factor for my users' needs, so I didn't overpay. great attention here. It works and the speed is decent and it's a bonus to have so there's no doubt about it. Bandwidth so as not to break records or anything like that. Overall this is 37% cheaper compared to a much more expensive product I have previously ordered for my users so a saving of over 60%, very happy with the value for money. ration, as well as built-in SD and microSD card readers are a bonus. I am happy with this as I have options to offer my users. Definitely recommend.
