Great product - hiking guide

Works great - picks up the WWVB US time signal and automatically sets the hands to the correct time. I'm on the west coast and mine was able to sync to the time signal overnight. The instructions are poorly translated and a bit incoherent so if you are confused: 1 - The mechanism has a locking pin so you can assemble the clock by keeping the hands at the 12 o'clock position (important). In order for the watch to function automatically, the hands must be set to the 12 o'clock position with the locking pin installed.2 - The hands are difficult to install without bending them. One trick is to use a piece of tubing, e.g. B. the end of a pen to press them in place. It is normal to rotate the hands to the correct position after pressing, and a little rotation when pressing can help adjust the hands better. First press the reset button, then wait for the hands to be back at 12:00 (or wherever you positioned them). Note that the hands rotate as follows: seconds - 360 degrees, hours/minutes for 12 hours (takes a few minutes), then the seconds hand finally rotates 360 degrees again. At this point you can reinsert the locking pin and then quickly remove the battery. To remove the darts, twist them back and forth while pulling them out. 4. The most incoherent part of the guide is setting the time zone. The WWVB time signal is UTC. The clock can be set to the 4 continental US time zones by flipping the switch on the back to P, M, C or E. If you live outside of these time zones and are still able to receive a WWBV signal, you will need to manually set the hour. . Unless you live near a transmitter located about 50 miles north of Denver, Colorado, you probably won't be able to receive a signal during the day. At night, the signal can travel much farther. If your watch is unable to receive a signal, it is most likely setting itself to a random time. Just leave the clock running all night and it should be able to fix itself the next day. The best signal coverage time is from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. CST (02:00-12:00 UTC).
