Useless guide.

Radio controlled clocks must be set correctly or the clock will show a random time. This radio controlled movement has useless, incomprehensible instructions. Impossible to understand what they are trying to tell you what to do. The words are in English but the sentences don't make sense. Chinese instructions could also be included. The "Ranking" of the star selection in this test report is "Openness" to choose from. I have no idea what that's supposed to mean.

I installed it and everything worked perfectly

I personally like these sets very much. Upgrading is a lot cheaper than buying an entire radio controlled watch for many bucks. For the uninitiated or not very mechanically inclined: you have to pull out the locking pin. You must take it out before inserting the batteries for the first time. Before inserting the batteries and removing the stylus, the hands must be set to the 12 o'clock position. Setting up clocks for radio reception can be challenging. If your mobile phone doesn't work in this…

Works great, almost perfect.

Installed on an old large clock, the clock wasn't accurate, but I don't want to give it up. I thought it might be possible to replace the mechanism with an atomic clockwork. I have other atomic clocks that have worked great, no need to adjust the time even for Daylight Savings Time. And these work pretty much the same (maybe 2 seconds difference). I think they are standard no matter the watch is big or small. Note: I have to reset them a few times to get these results. So far happy with the…

Easy to install works great just be patient with the auto time setting

I was hesitant to order this the first time, putting aside some negative reviews and seemed good for something so cheap but i'm glad i got it. The original I ordered and set to the old clock had already gone through Daylight Saving Time - I didn't even think about it until I checked a day later and noticed that it was changing itself. I just bought a second one to upgrade my watch. A friend's kitchen clock. Again, it works great, remember to be patient as it can take a while (took me one night…

USELESS-DOES NOT KEEP TIME

I have a large (18 inch) radio controlled watch that has stopped working. I was happy to find replacements for them as the watch was expensive but excitement was short lived. I set the clock to west and it set the correct time after about 5 hours. After about 4 days the time switched back to 7-8 hours, took out the batteries for a couple of days, kept them turned west, and nothing helped. To make matters worse, there is no hand wheel for setting the time on the back of the movement. My watch…

Great product - hiking guide

Works great - picks up the WWVB US time signal and automatically sets the hands to the correct time. I'm on the west coast and mine was able to sync to the time signal overnight. The instructions are poorly translated and a bit incoherent so if you are confused: 1 - The mechanism has a locking pin so you can assemble the clock by keeping the hands at the 12 o'clock position (important). In order for the watch to function automatically, the hands must be set to the 12 o'clock position with the…
