These clips are for the lightest use only. The steel they are made of is very soft and bends easily. I had to flex my jaws to straighten them. The handle flexed when clamped and clamped the lever, freezing the action of all six clamps. Legs are loose so they rotate too far to balance. I work in a metal shop and have used dozens of Irwin clamps and have never had a problem with Irwin flexing and to be honest I have had problems with Irwin legs but that's probably 1 in 5 and only after a few years Use. .
