I used these to quickly fit a 9500 lb winch to my truck. I set it up as detachable and wanted to use it on the front or rear hitch. This set was pretty easy to install if you have an average store setup. I crimped 4 gauge wire in and then soldered the connections for durability. You will need a vise to crimp the connectors as they are fairly stiff but have not been damaged by the heat to add solder. I had a bit of trouble getting the connectors deep enough into the plastic housing to snap into place, especially after crimping the wire which made them wider. I had to use some silicone spray to push them far enough to stay in place. The connection between the two devices seems solid and I didn't notice any loss of voltage when I placed the meter on it. They hold tight but fall apart with normal force. I'll see how they hold up but my first impressions are positive and the winch works with these connectors.
