What impressive plugs! They turned out to be larger than I thought and look like overkill for the application. However, I always prefer to do more than less. Pins can be soldered. I tinned my wires, filled the contacts with lead and dipped the wires in. These connectors handle high currents well and are very easy to plug and unplug.

Cut my 12,000 pound winch cables and put a couple of cables in, one on the winch and one on the cables so I can pull it out the front can solve. It also makes it possible to make a set of jumper cables (which I did with some 25ft 2ga power cables) using the same connectors so I can now jump without opening the hood and also run the winch on battery power . with cable set

I ran a battery power line to my Ham Truck. Those were good starting points. If you haven't used them before, watch a YouTube video that shows how to properly crimp and insert the connectors into the housing or you'll run into trouble. A heavy-duty 30 amp crimping tool is required for a secure installation. Works great when installed correctly.

A battery connected to a dump trailer that was not being charged via the plug. That was the ticket for me! I ended up running welding wire from one of my two batteries on the truck and used it to connect/disconnect. I ended up using a disconnect switch on the battery connector to kill it when not in use. (I didn't want 12V fire potential). All in all they are great and I also hooked up a 10K winch.

I had an old substation build "Anderson tool" and found it did a great job of crimping ferrules that were thick enough in material to hold their shape during and after to keep crimping. Definitely needs a serious crimping tool to get the job done. I can't say anything about the electrical properties yet. The parts fit well. The label holder on the lid is too short to be useful. This is cheap wire. I wish they had added at least two more inches to make it useful.

This offer is for "four packs". The listing shows four red connectors, eight metal tabs, and four spaces. The photos show four connections. This is not what you will get. The packaging says "4 pack" but that's clearly not true. I returned the first order thinking it might be a mistake - it's not. The second box is identical to the first. The description and photos are misleading. When you order this "Four Pack" just know that it only comes with two connectors! Very smart seller.

I used these to quickly fit a 9500 lb winch to my truck. I set it up as detachable and wanted to use it on the front or rear hitch. This set was pretty easy to install if you have an average store setup. I crimped 4 gauge wire in and then soldered the connections for durability. You will need a vise to crimp the connectors as they are fairly stiff but have not been damaged by the heat to add solder.
