I liked these lids and hoped to replace my kids plastic lids on their Mason jars. Worked good at first, some leaked, others held a tight seal. Then they started to rust around the edge of the seal. This has happened to all the lids after the 5th or 6th use.This is their water cup, milk cup, juice cup ect. So used up to 16 times a day for their 12oz jars, filling and sealing, unsealing and refilling. Sometimes I would rinse with water, other times wipe clean with a sponge and soapy water. Still rusted with the glass up against the metal.Such a bummer when I'd seen the rust. Maybe I'll try the all stainless steal set. But the rose colored with white innards end up with rust all over the threads of the lid.
