This is an independent review of a PTZ wireless security camera by IEGeek. The camera came well packaged with all accessories. The CloudEdge app was easy to download and easy to use. The kit includes a bracket for easy camera installation. The pan and tilt function works well and is an important and notable feature of this security camera. Images captured both during the day and at night are of exceptional clarity and quality. For comparison, the two screenshots look identical, taken day and night. An important feature of the PTZ security camera is that it is powered by a solar panel and battery. Since it is known that a solar panel only captures 15-18 percent of the energy of the sun's rays falling on it, it is obvious that the location of the solar panel is critical. The panel should be placed so that there is no shading from neighboring trees, buildings, etc. to maximize solar gain during the day. As a rule, the front of the panel is best tilted slightly to the south in the northern hemisphere. The included cable that connects the solar panel to the camera is 12 feet long. If needed, an extension cord can be added to properly position the solar panel. The photo shows how I installed my solar panel and camera. Be sure to fully charge the batteries before installing the camera. My camera has been working for 2 weeks and the charge stays at 100%. I rate ieGeek wireless security PTZ camera 5 stars.
