This scanner does exactly what I needed, which is scanning short documents, cards and random receipts. Formfeed is a little finicky, and it's easy to accidentally knock a page out of a mess. Fortunately, the software makes it easy to rescan a page (just "add" another page) and remove errors before saving the final copy of the scanned image. and other similar uncritical documents, I have not aggressively checked the image quality. The scanned pages met my requirements. A few snaps I tried came out fine. I had no direct contact with Epson technical support. It comes with documentation and the website is pretty complete. The software installed a rather aggressive software update agent that quickly requests registry information and software updates.
