Review on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 225/55 R17 97Y summer by Ivan Yakimov ᠌

Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

Immediately for those who want to advise me to change the car - I have a German worth 4 million (and so advise the owners of Bentley) Conti skated on it for three seasons - only one thing did not suit - the water track. I read the reviews and decided to take this miracle for myself, after 1000 km of run I realized that I had to believe the few, but truthful negative reviews . . So (1) (not critical) - noise, this rubber is noisy even on my car. (2) (critical) - the track is not even significant - this is horror. I forgot when I clung to the steering wheel with both hands, but on the horns it’s the only way, already at 60 km / h the car can even be thrown out of a small rut. It was already written about overtaking here - acceleration + track + this rubber = quiet horror. Yes, I understand everything that RunFlat and so on, but Conti did not cause such an effect, although the steering wheel had to be held a little tighter. (3) water track (well, probably for all wheels of this width here) - brake and avoid otherwise you will float like. . you will go like a steamer. Results: rubber is slightly cheaper than the top one, inferior to it very much in quality, so much so that driving becomes dangerous in the conditions of the 2022 (find me roads without a track) and it doesn’t matter anymore that on wet asphalt the braking distance is . % less than someone else’s there yet. I'm going back to the factory tires which, in their fourth season, are better than this new one. Good luck to everyone on the road.

Pros
  • German production
Cons
  • Unpredictable behavior on a rutting road.
