takes some getting used to. After the first time I got used to holding and pressing it to create the line width I wanted. I have already noticed a slight crack on the pin. I had it for several weeks. The ink is fine. I got the ink from Dr. F. Martin, she is much better. The ink is not as pigmented and looks gray in comparison. The cleaner also works well for the pen. However, mild soap and water gave the same results.
